Google Cloud Platform Python Developer

We are seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform Python Developer with advanced Python expertise to strengthen code quality, developer tooling, testing standards, and reusable engineering patterns for services running on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will work closely with development and architecture teams to establish scalable engineering practices and ensure production-ready code across the Google Cloud Platform environment., * Develop and maintain Python-based services and applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform.

• Establish and enforce code quality, testing, and engineering standards across development teams.
• Build and enhance developer tooling that improves development productivity, code reliability, and deployment readiness.
• Design reusable Python libraries, frameworks, templates, and engineering patterns for Google Cloud Platform-based services.
• Implement automated unit, integration, and functional testing using Python testing frameworks.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance on Python development best practices.
• Integrate static code analysis, linting, formatting, security scanning, and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud-native architectures to ensure applications follow scalable and maintainable patterns.
• Support containerized Python services using Docker and Kubernetes/GKE where applicable.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to improve CI/CD automation and developer workflows.
• Troubleshoot code-quality, testing, build, and deployment issues across Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Establish reusable patterns for logging, monitoring, error handling, configuration, authentication, and API development.
• Maintain technical documentation and engineering standards for shared development practices.
• Mentor developers on Python, testing, cloud-native development, and software engineering best practices., * Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

• Experience with PyTest, unittest, coverage, linting, and code-quality tools.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
• Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, branching strategies, and code reviews.
• Experience designing reusable software components and engineering patterns.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.

Preferred Google Cloud Platform Skills, * Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.

• 5+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on Python experience.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production applications on Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
