Network Engineer Senior - TS/SCI required

Experteer Overview In this senior Network Engineer role, you support the INSCOM mission by designing, installing, and maintaining complex LAN/WAN networks. You will lead network security, integration, and operations across multi-technology environments, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with government teams. You’ll translate requirements into scalable network designs and drive reliable, secure communications. Compensation / Benefits * Install, configure, and support LAN/WAN, AIN, intranet and internet data communications systems * Maintain network hardware and software; monitor network availability and perform required maintenance * Supervise junior network staff and provide leadership on security measures and project planning * Oversee network control center operations; design complex networks across multiple technologies * Evaluate and integrate new network technologies; plan configurations for optimal performance * Translate business requirements into telecommunications (LAN/MAN/WAN/Voice/Video) requirements and designs * Develop network architecture and design documentation; create engineering and test plans * Troubleshoot advanced network problems and manage network migration and addressing schemes * Interact with government stakeholders on network engineering considerations and issue resolution * Ensure technical integrity of deliverables within the Network Engineering area * Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives Tasks * TS/SCI clearance * Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of experience or Master’s Degree with 10 years of experience * DoD 8570.01-M IAT II/8140 CE Certification prior to support * IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent * minimum CCNA; CCNP within 180 days of start (CCNP preferred) * Security clearance and CI polygraph willingness per contract * US Citizenship required * Experience in network design, integration, and security for large-scale government networks Key requirements * 401(k) with company match * health, dental, vision plans * flexible work weeks where possible * paid time off (vacation, sick, personal) * paid parental leave * life and disability insurance
