Job description

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring for a Senior Technology and Systems Consultant on behalf of its client. This is an onsite, task order based consulting role supporting a large public sector organization across multiple departments. The consultant serves as the ranking technical authority on assigned task orders, leading technology assessments, cybersecurity reviews, cloud architecture planning, and systems integration analysis, then translating findings into recommendations that leadership can act on. Placement is contingent upon contract award., * Lead technology analysis and consultation engagements across client departments, including current state assessment, gap analysis, and future state recommendations

  • Conduct cybersecurity reviews and assess alignment with NIST 800 53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and FISMA control requirements

  • Design cloud architecture and develop migration plans for AWS and Azure environments, including business case support and risk assessment

  • Provide network design and network services guidance covering wired, wireless, and remote site connectivity

  • Support systems integration and enterprise resource planning initiatives, including interface design, API strategy, and vendor coordination

  • Perform quality assurance assessments covering process adherence, documentation quality, reporting accuracy, and issue management

  • Serve as the senior technical point of contact on assigned task orders and provide direction to assigned technical staff

  • Identify and advise on obstacles requiring special attention, assess options, and present recommendations

  • Document technical decisions, risks, and commitments in a format acceptable to the client and retrievable on request

  • Present findings and recommendations to non technical stakeholders, including department directors and executive leadership

  • Maintain availability for client consultation between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday, respond to inquiries within one business day, and respond to urgent requests within four hours

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field

  • Minimum eight years of progressive experience in technology consulting, systems analysis, or enterprise IT architecture

  • Minimum three years supporting federal, state, or local government clients

  • Demonstrated experience leading cybersecurity assessments against NIST or FISMA requirements

  • Hands on experience designing, deploying, or migrating workloads in AWS or Azure

  • Experience producing technical assessment reports, architecture documentation, and executive level briefings

  • Ability to work independently under broad direction and to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and diplomacy at all organizational levels

  • Ability to report onsite in Frederick, Maryland on the schedule required by the assigned task order

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a technical or management discipline

  • Prior consulting experience with a county, municipal, or state agency

  • Experience supporting enterprise asset management or ERP platform implementations

  • Familiarity with Maryland public sector procurement, records retention, and public information practices

  • Currently residing in the Frederick, Maryland area or the surrounding region

Certifications One or more of the following is required. Copies of all certificates must be provided with your application:

  • CISSP

  • CompTIA Security+

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Associate or Professional

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  • CompTIA Network+

Benefits & conditions

$58.00 to $78.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications. Benefits vary by employment classification and are discussed during the interview process.
