Job description

Experteer Overview As an Application Developer at Starbucks, you will deliver and support technology solutions that enable business capabilities and partner across IT and the business to analyze requirements, design and build software, automate testing, and deploy reliable solutions. You will contribute across the delivery lifecycle in Agile and/or waterfall environments, and help maintain production stability through on-call support and incident analysis. This role combines coding discipline with clear documentation and strong collaboration to drive secure, scalable outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Build and deliver software solutions using established design patterns and coding standards focused on secure, scalable, durable, and accessible outcomes * Contribute across the delivery lifecycle (requirements/backlog refinement, technical design, development, test automation, deployment) in Agile and/or waterfall environments * Support production stability by participating in on-call support, troubleshooting incidents, contributing to root-cause analysis, tracking operational KPIs, and maintaining clear documentation for operations and users Tasks * 0-4 years of professional software development experience * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field * Proficiency with relevant development languages, tools, frameworks, and dependencies * Experience building or integrating with established APIs, including common system integration patterns * Strong engineering habits: reusable, maintainable code, automated tests, and clear technical documentation * Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines Key requirements * medical, dental, vision insurance * basic and supplemental life insurance * short-term and long-term disability * paid parental leave * paid vacation from date of hire * 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
