Sr Systems Engineer - Launch Systems Integrator

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead and unify complex system solutions across the product lifecycle to deliver cohesive, compliant space systems. You will champion an integrated view, aligning stakeholders and shepherding development milestones. You’ll drive architecture, requirements management and system verification to ensure performance. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to manage risks and continuously improve engineering processes. Compensation / Benefits * Lead specification, architecting and integration of complex system solutions with cross-functional teams * Oversee derivation, decomposition, allocation, tracing and management of system requirements and architectures * Define and document system concepts of operation and perform top-down-to-bottom-up traceability * Lead development milestone reviews and create artifacts/deliverables for system integration and verification activities * Identify and manage technical risks and develop mitigation strategies * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with established engineering processes and standards * Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and execution Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience; typically 10+ years of experience * Demonstrated expertise in Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle * Experience across requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation and allocation * Experience developing systems architecture and performing integration, verification and validation (V&V) * Ability to work with technical and SME engineers to drive SE products * Strong problem-solving and attention to detail, adaptable to fast-paced environments Key requirements * medical, dental and vision plans * 401(k) with 150% match up to 6% * life insurance * 3 weeks paid time off * competitive compensation * career development opportunities
