Experteer Overview As Principal Systems Engineer, you drive the development of integrated, cohesive system solutions across the product lifecycle. You align technical teams to stakeholder requirements, manage architecture, and ensure traceability from concept to verification. You lead risk identification and develop mitigation strategies to deliver compliant, high-performance systems. You mentor engineers, champion systems engineering practices, and contribute to corporate strategy. This role offers impact at scale in a mission-driven, collaborative environment. Compensation / Benefits * Lead derivation, decomposition, allocation, tracing, and management of system requirements and architectures * Define and document system concepts of operation * Plan, define, and lead development milestone reviews * Oversee system integration and verification activities to ensure functionality and performance * Identify and manage technical risks with mitigation strategies * Contribute to continuous improvement and corporate Systems Engineering policies * Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment Tasks * Bachelor in related field (or equivalent experience; Masters +13 years acceptable) * Typically 15+ years of related experience * Advanced expertise in Systems Engineering across lifecycle * Experience with requirements management, derivation, allocation * Systems architecture development, integration, verification and validation * Ability to influence policy and process definition * Experience working with engineers and SME colleagues to drive SE products * Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance required Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision plans * 401(k) with 150% match up to 6% * life insurance * 3 weeks paid time off * competitive compensation * professional development opportunities
