Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will contribute to state-of-the-art Mission Planning systems as part of Northrop Grumman Defense Systems. You will design, develop, test, and integrate software while ensuring quality and CI/CD readiness, working in a cross-functional Scrum environment to deliver high-priority features. You will engage with customers and stakeholders to support software interfaces and verification activities, shaping robust solutions for mission-critical operations. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, document, test and debug software and systems meeting standards * Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and fast delivery of software to production * Set up development, test, and build environments; create Windows installers * Support software build, installation, and product verification * Work in a cross-functional Scrum to deliver mission planning features * Understand third-party peripherals to support interfaces and integration * Develop verification artifacts (VCM, test plans/procedures/reports) and testing approaches * Conduct smoke and acceptance testing on builds; address technical issues in Scrum * Interface technically with customers; contribute to contract deliverables and tests * Support Agile framework as Scrum Master when required * On-site work in Hollywood, MD * Assist with automated test strategy and DOORS requirements handling Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in STEM or 2+ years relevant experience; Master’s degree with 0 years experience accepted * US Citizenship and current Secret Clearance (adjudicated within 5 years) with ability to obtain SAP clearance * Experience with Agile and CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins) and practices * Proficiency in C# and/or Java and OO design * Experience with Microsoft Windows technologies * Test procedure development and maintenance; formal test event coordination * Experience with scripting (yaml, Python, PowerShell, Batch, Typescript) * Experience with automated testing and TestComplete * Understanding of revision control systems (BitBucket, git, CVS) * Hands-on system troubleshooting skills * Ability to interface with customers and support contract deliverables Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) * discretionary bonus opportunity
