Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and deploy an AI-powered ML platform within a global SaaS environment for nonprofits. You’ll build models and data pipelines, shaping the ML roadmap and AI strategy while delivering scalable production solutions in the cloud. The role spans the full ML lifecycle, from experimentation to deployment, working closely with cross-functional teams to unlock data-driven insights. You will help drive impact by applying modern ML techniques to real-world nonprofit outcomes, with a strong emphasis on scale and reliability. Pay / Benefits * Design and develop a Python-based ML platform * Build and deploy predictive models (propensity scoring, churn) * Develop and maintain ML infrastructure in AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, S3) * Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications * Build data pipelines and unified data structures from multiple APIs/databases * Collaborate with engineering and product teams to identify AI opportunities * Continuously improve model performance, accuracy and scalability Tasks * 2+ years as Data Scientist or ML Engineer * Strong Python programming * Experience with scikit-learn * Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow * Experience with AWS / SageMaker or similar * Strong data manipulation with NumPy/Pandas/SciPy * Experience with SQL and complex datasets * Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments Key requirements * Flexible and remote-friendly working * Generous holiday allowance * Paid parental leave and sick leave * Employer matched charitable giving programme * Paid volunteering day each year * Conference and learning budget
