Product Manager - Relationship Management

Experteer Overview As a Product Manager, you will own the customer-facing relationship management proposition and drive its delivery and optimisation to support Metro Bank’s next phase of growth. You will lead a digitally enabled, named-relationship experience and partner across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to ensure viable, secure solutions. You will translate strategy into squad-level outcomes, prioritise work by value, and track success metrics such as customer outcomes and adoption. This is a chance to shape a modern, relationship-led banking product in a regulated environment, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, risk-aware decision making, and customer impact. Pay / Benefits * Define and build the customer-facing proposition and backlog for the Relationship Manager experience * Own the delivery roadmap and squad-level outcomes with clear priorities and acceptance criteria * Prioritise work balancing customer value, business impact, feasibility, technical health, and regulatory requirements * Act as the primary product manager for the squad, managing trade-offs to maintain delivery momentum * Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to ensure viable, secure, and compliant solutions * Define and track success metrics (customer outcomes, adoption, engagement, insights, operational performance) * Manage dependencies across squads and escalate risks when needed * Leverage customer insights, data, and feedback to redefine journeys Tasks * Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or similar role with banking product knowledge and customer journeys * Proven ability to define and launch customer-facing propositions from concept to launch * Experience delivering products in regulated environments with requirement refinement * Strong facilitation for backlog refinement, planning, and stakeholder alignment * Familiarity with modern digital platforms, APIs, system integration, and customer-facing apps * Exposure to agentic tooling and AI/LLM interfaces is desirable * Awareness of regulatory, risk, and control considerations in financial services (Consumer Duty) * Understanding of agile delivery and product management within it * Excellent communicator with ability to influence across product, technology, operations, and controls * Understanding of risk and how it affects stakeholders Key requirements * competitive salary * discretionary annual bonus * generous holiday allowance * attractive pension scheme * healthcare * life assurance
