Job description

Experteer Overview In this role within DRW’s Developer Experience team in London, you will own and improve firm-wide developer tooling, observability, and build workflows. You will collaborate with trading and engineering teams to scale services, diagnose complex CI workflows, and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure across cloud and on-prem. You will empower engineers by delivering reliable tooling and self-service docs, while rotating support during UK hours. You will help DRW enhance developer productivity and platform reliability. Pay / Benefits * Collaborate with leaders, trading teams, and developers to scale the engineering population across the company * Own product and technical delivery of services provided by the Developer Experience team (source control, build artifacts, AI-powered development tools) * Participate in a scheduled support rotation during UK business hours to maximize tool usage by internal engineers * Diagnose and resolve intricate CI/build issues during rotations, building relationships with DRW development Teams * Improve service reliability, performance, and observability of critical infrastructure and tooling * Work in a hybrid environment (cloud and on-prem) using infra-as-code to manage and scale services * Educate users, deliver demonstrations, and maintain high-quality self-service documentation Tasks * Strong technical background and ability to influence the software delivery lifecycle * Excellent written and verbal communication to resonate across teams * Pragmatic approach balancing immediate needs with long-term sustainability * Problem solver comfortable with troubleshooting OS issues and designing robust storage solutions * Experience with CI/CD and removing inefficiencies in development processes * Self-motivated, curious, collaborative, and committed to learning Key requirements *
