  • CI/CD, We are seeking a Java Developer for a 6-month contract role in Glasgow, working inside IR35. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to secure, stable, and scalable solutions across a variety of business and technical domains while collaborating with cross-functional teams. We value strong technical expertise, ownership, and a commitment to best practices in software delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Core Java and functional programming concepts.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Spring, Spring REST, Spring Boot, and JPA.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of Angular and React UI frameworks, with 2+ years of experience.
  • Deep expertise in JUnit and integration testing, with 5+ years of experience.
  • Ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries, with 3+ years of experience.
  • Solid understanding of Agile practices and principles.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong grasp of software design principles and patterns.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kafka, MQ, or other streaming services is preferred.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Co-pilot is preferred.
