CI/CD, We are seeking a Java Developer for a 6-month contract role in Glasgow, working inside IR35. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to secure, stable, and scalable solutions across a variety of business and technical domains while collaborating with cross-functional teams. We value strong technical expertise, ownership, and a commitment to best practices in software delivery.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in Core Java and functional programming concepts.
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Spring, Spring REST, Spring Boot, and JPA.
Minimum 2 years of experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
Working knowledge of Angular and React UI frameworks, with 2+ years of experience.
Deep expertise in JUnit and integration testing, with 5+ years of experience.
Ability to write efficient and optimized SQL queries, with 3+ years of experience.
Solid understanding of Agile practices and principles.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Strong grasp of software design principles and patterns.
Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
Familiarity with Kafka, MQ, or other streaming services is preferred.
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Co-pilot is preferred.
