Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will strengthen Equifax’s defense against fraud by developing and tuning AI-driven detection and automation solutions. You will work with cross-functional teams to accelerate detection speeds, reduce false positives, and scale monitoring tooling in a dynamic threat environment. You’ll translate security data into actionable insights and contribute to a data-driven security program. This position offers impactful work on safeguarding consumer data and advancing fraud prevention capabilities. Compensation / Benefits * Review transactions to identify fraudulent or inappropriate data access across Equifax products * Identify and implement automation opportunities to speed and improve detection * Monitor security systems and reports to spot suspicious patterns for investigation * Collaborate with tech teams to tune AI-driven fraud models and provide FP feedback * Investigate escalations related to improper access while meeting SLAs * Provide regular reporting and recommendations based on best practices * Prioritize and manage work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision Tasks * 2+ years of fraud detection or related data analysis experience * Bachelor’s in a related field * Familiarity with AI/ML and ability to develop detection techniques * Experience leveraging data systems to deliver actionable results * Experience using automation tools or scripting (Python, SQL) to streamline data collection and reporting * Ability to make quick, accurate decisions about data indicators * Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills * Results-driven with strong planning and attention to detail Key requirements * comprehensive compensation * healthcare packages * 401k matching * paid time off * online learning platform with guided career tracks
