Job description
- Define and own the strategic vision for IHC regulatory reporting, prioritizing innovative and scalable solutions over legacy or tactical fixes.
- Provide executive oversight of regulatory interpretation and translate requirements into standardized, reusable, and platform-driven solutions.
- Design and build new regulatory reporting platforms including data sourcing, calculations, rule configuration, and report production.
- Drive reduction of manual adjustments, EUCs, and reconciliations through design-led automation and data consistency.
- Act as the senior escalation point for regulatory reporting risks, design decisions, and delivery trade-offs.
- Ability to think innovatively and identify more efficient, cost-effective solutions
- Partner with senior Finance, Risk, Treasury, Compliance, Audit, Data, and Technology leaders to align reporting strategy and execution.
- Provide executive sponsorship for Agile delivery, ensuring regulatory rigor, documentation, and controls are embedded by design.
- Develop high-performing teams and foster a culture that challenges traditional regulatory reporting approaches while maintaining regulatory defensibility.
Requirements
Provide enterprise-level leadership for the design, delivery, and modernization of the firm’s regulatory reporting framework. You will be accountable for ensuring accurate, compliant regulatory reporting while driving creative, forward-looking solutions that replace traditional, manual, or fragmented approaches with scalable, automated, and defensible designs. This position serves as a senior bridge across Regulatory Policy, Finance, Risk, Treasury, Data, and Technology, setting the strategic direction for regulatory reporting transformation. You must have experience working in a Financial Services firm., + Deep expertise in IHC regulatory reporting frameworks, governance, and supervisory expectations.
- U.S. regulatory reporting o Strong data expertise, including data analytics, data ownership, and data product management o Proven experience driving innovative, non-traditional regulatory reporting solutions in highly regulated environments. o Solid understanding of technology, including current AI capabilities and applications o Proven experience leading transformation initiatives, including driving and implementing change o Strong executive presence with the ability to influence across Finance, Risk, and Technology without direct authority. o Oversight of a large team (approximately 50 total: ~25 direct reports and ~25 indirect reports) o Experience working with offshore and matrixed teams o Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior management and regulators. Nice to Have: o Hands-on experience in development (e.g., Developer or Business Analyst) o Understanding of product ownership and product management structures
