Job description

  • The SAP Manufacturing Analyst (Production Planning) is responsible for aligning SAP systems with business needs, providing end-user support for issue resolution and managing enhancement tasks. The position supports procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing business units and can be based at any of client locations.
  • Collaborate with business users to interpret and refine requirements.
  • Translate business needs into SAP designs and specifications, leveraging industry trends and SAP best practices.
  • Lead or contribute to projects in roles such as project manager, business analyst, technical lead, or individual contributor.
  • Support all testing phases, including test case creation, data management, and resolving findings.
  • Lead or assist with training and documentation related to project work.
  • Coordinate across multiple technical teams and provide Level 3 production support for issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Perform analysis and provide task estimates for upcoming work.
  • Apply lean principles to issue resolution, process improvement, and product design.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical teams (onshore and offhore) and non-technical business users at all levels.
  • Experience with SAP PP Module ECC 6.0/S4HANA.
  • This role requires strong business, technical, and communication skills to ensure the successful resolution of business challenges and alignment of technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • This position may require travel to Project / client locations.
  • This role may Involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only., The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Benefits & conditions

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows: In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ, VT, MA: $94,000 to $131,600 In Washington, DC: $85,700 to $124,600
