Job description

Bentley Systems, Incorporated, (Exton, PA) opening for a Software Engineer, responsible for developing high-quality software using C++, C#, and other relevant languages while implementing new features and enhancements based on user feedback and project requirements.

Requirements

  • 2 years software engineering experience and 2 years of working with AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) software development.

  • C# , .NET Framework, developing WPF apps using XAML, implementing custom algorithms for geometry-based computations, or CAD-like functionality.

  • Object-oriented programming and design patterns.

  • Working with large legacy codebases, including reading, understanding, and extending existing functionality without disrupting critical workflows.

  • Participate in peer code reviews, and utilize new tools and methodologies to optimize development processes and ensure high code quality.

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by users or QA, delivering timely fixes and improvements., + U.S. Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Computer Science.
