Job description

We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support cloud modernization initiatives, application development, infrastructure automation, and cloud operations within a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong AWS expertise, DevOps experience, and a proven track record of building scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions., CloudWatch CloudTrail Splunk Bash or PowerShell scripting. AI/ML services such as SageMaker. Multi-cloud experience. Responsibilities Design and develop cloud-native applications on AWS. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub. Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation. Develop REST APIs and cloud-based applications. Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker. Design and maintain SQL/NoSQL databases. Implement cloud security controls and compliance standards. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure. Participate in cloud modernization initiatives. Create technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and technical teams Flexible work from home options available.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on AWS experience including: EC2 S3 AWS Lambda IAM 3+ years of experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines. 3+ years of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation). 3+ years of experience developing applications using Python, Node.js, or C#. 3+ years of experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. 3+ years of experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases: MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB DynamoDB 3+ years of experience with: Encryption standards AWS Secrets Manage HashiCorp Vault HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2 compliance frameworks. Preferred Qualifications AWS Well-Architected Framework experience. AWS cloud migration and modernization experience. AWS cost optimization expertise. Experience with: AWS Config
