Job description

  • We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Cloud Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS cloud technologies, DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and cloud-native application development.
  • This role involves collaborating with DevOps, Security, Product, and Architecture teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • The Cloud Developer will support modernization initiatives, automation efforts, and operational excellence by implementing scalable architectures, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring solutions, and cloud security best practices., Cloud Application Development
  • Design and develop applications using AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and DevOps best practices.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  • Develop, deploy, and troubleshoot web applications and REST APIs using Python, Node.js, or C#.
  • Design and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop and maintain SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
  • Implement security controls, encryption standards, and secrets management solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cloud costs using tools such as CloudWatch.
  • Participate in cloud modernization and application transformation initiatives.

Technical Collaboration & Compliance

  • Collaborate with technical architects, database administrators, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and requirements gathering activities.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise IT standards, security policies, and industry best practices.
  • Support data integration, exchange mechanisms, and data governance initiatives.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Knowledge Transfer & Documentation

  • Create technical documentation, runbooks, job aids, and training materials.
  • Document design, development, testing, and deployment procedures.
  • Provide knowledge transfer sessions and technical support documentation for internal teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including:
  • Amazon EC2 / Virtual Machines
  • Amazon S3 / Cloud Storage
  • AWS Lambda / Serverless Computing
  • AWS IAM (Identity & Access Management)
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience implementing scalable, highly available, and secure cloud solutions.

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps workflows.
  • Strong experience with GitHub and version control best practices.
  • Experience building automated deployment pipelines and release automation processes.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as:
  • Terraform
  • AWS CloudFormation
  • Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
  • Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

Application Development

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience developing, deploying, and debugging web applications.
  • Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages:
  • Python
  • Node.js
  • C#

Containers & Orchestration

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with:
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Amazon EKS or equivalent orchestration platforms
  • Experience designing and managing containerized applications in cloud environments.

Databases

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases including:
  • MySQL
  • PostgreSQL
  • MongoDB
  • DynamoDB
  • Experience with database design, optimization, and cloud-based database services.

Security & Compliance

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience implementing:
  • Encryption standards
  • Secrets management solutions such as AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault
  • Compliance frameworks including HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC2
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and governance controls.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
  • Experience migrating legacy applications to AWS cloud-native environments.
  • Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies using:
  • AWS Cost Explorer
  • Trusted Advisor
  • Resource tagging and chargeback models
  • Experience implementing automated security and compliance monitoring using:
  • AWS Config
  • Security Hub
  • Custom Lambda policies
  • Experience implementing centralized logging and monitoring solutions using:
  • CloudWatch Logs
  • CloudTrail
  • Splunk or equivalent tools
  • Scripting experience using Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
  • Experience with AI/ML cloud services such as AWS SageMaker.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud architecture environments.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model with on-site collaboration requirements as needed.
