Job description
Experteer Overview As a Staff Data Scientist at Walmart, you will architect and build ML and GenAI solutions to enhance Customer Intelligence and Segmentation. You will work within the Data Science Center of Excellence to translate data into actionable insights that drive financial and operational impact. You will deploy production-ready models and GenAI applications at scale, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the chance to shape AI-driven decision-making and customer data initiatives at a national retailer. Compensation / Benefits * Architect and develop ML and GenAI models to support Customer Intelligence and Segmentation * Design and implement multi-agent workflows and production-level AI applications * Lead data gathering, validate data quality, and curate large analytics datasets * Apply big data analytics to identify trends and insights, determining data needs for projects * Build, train, and scale custom models and algorithms for business solutions Tasks * 5-7 years of hands-on data science experience * Strong foundation in ML, LLMs, GenAI, and production deployment * Solid understanding of ML models (Logistic Regression, SVM, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, DNN) * Experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch * Proficiency in Java and Python * Experience with Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) * Familiarity with open-source frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Torch) * Knowledge of data gathering, data validity assessment, and large-scale analytics Key requirements * medical, vision, and dental coverage * 401(k) and stock purchase * paid time off and parental leave * education benefit program Live Better U * disability benefits * adoption and surrogacy reimbursement
