Experteer Overview As Lead Engineer, Network Security Platform, you will shape the security architecture within KPMG’s Digital Nexus tech team. You’ll align network security roadmaps with industry best practices and enable seamless integration of Zscaler, GCP and Palo Alto across the infrastructure. You will translate evolving security trends into deliverables, drive high-quality product development, and provide expert guidance to operations and cross-functional teams. This role offers impact at scale, contributing to a modern security platform and a culture of engineering excellence. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain technology architecture roadmaps and improve existing ones * Assess current network security architecture and propose improvements aligned with standards * Ensure integration of Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto with broader infrastructure * Provide guidance to ensure product development processes meet performance and budget targets * Offer last-tier support, root cause analysis, and preventative measures for operations teams * Design system configurations and enforce standards; train and mentor Network team members Tasks * Minimum five years of experience with Web proxy products (Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Deep Palo Alto firewall expertise (physical Strata, VM-Series), Panorama, Prisma Access/SaaS security * Hands-on Google Cloud Platform engineering (VPC design, Cloud Armor) and Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) engineering * Strong background in Network automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) * Excellent communication and leadership abilities; ability to manage multiple projects and develop high-performance teams * Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (no visa sponsorship available) Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental plans * vision coverage and disability insurance * life insurance and 401(k) * personal well-being benefits * paid time off and holidays * salary transparency information available
