Information Security Advisor

Experteer Overview In this role you will design and implement strategic network security, access control, and secure messaging solutions to protect enterprise data. You will lead engineering design, incident response, and risk-driven security initiatives, collaborating with business and technology partners. The position combines hands-on technical work with governance and vendor oversight to evolve security strategy. You will help scale security capabilities across complex systems in a hybrid work environment. Compensation / Benefits * Provide first-level engineering design and troubleshooting for access management and network security technologies * Lead or plan implementations, testing, and change control for security solutions * Investigate and report security incidents; lead root cause analysis and incident recovery efforts * Support risk assessments and enforce information security procedures, standards, and technologies * Maintain incident response plans and coordinate vendor services * Oversee vendor strategy and manage enterprise mix of security services * Develop procedures and metrics for security operations and performance * Represent upgrades and major system changes in change control processes Tasks * BS/BA in Information Technology or related field * 5+ years of experience in systems support, security, access management, or network security * Experience planning and designing highly complex systems * Knowledge of IAM governance, risk management, and IGA * Experience with SOX, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, SOC (preferred) * Security certifications such as CISSP or equivalent * Ability to lead incident recovery and cross-functional coordination Key requirements * market-competitive total rewards * medical, dental, vision benefits * 401(k) + match * stock purchase plan * paid holidays * paid time off
