Information Security Advisor

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead strategic network security and access control initiatives to protect critical information and secure transactions. You’ll work within IT Security & Compliance to design, implement, and support security solutions aligned with enterprise standards. You will handle incident response, risk assessments, and governance activities while coordinating with cross-functional teams. Compensation / Benefits * Provide first-level engineering design and trouble resolution for security technologies * Lead or plan implementations for access management and network security * Develop testing plans to ensure quality of implementation * Investigate and report data security incidents; lead root cause analysis * Support risk assessments and implementation of security procedures and standards * Maintain incident response plans and participate in change control for upgrades * Oversee vendor services and contribute to security strategy updates * Engineer repeatable technical solutions from business requirements * Develop procedures and performance metrics for security operations * Lead level 1-2 incident recoveries and coordinate with analysts as needed Tasks * BS/BA in Information Technology or related field * 5+ years of experience in systems support, security, access management, or network security * Experience planning and designing highly complex systems * Experience with incident response and risk assessment * Knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory considerations (SOX, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, SOC) * Strong understanding of IAM governance and IGA * Ability to support governance assessments and maturity evaluations Key requirements * merit increases * Paid Time Off * medical, dental, vision benefits * 401(k) + match * stock purchase plan * wellness programs
