Sr. Competitive Insights Analyst

Experteer Overview As Sr. Competitive Insights Analyst, you research and synthesize data on competitors and their products to identify market trends and opportunities. You’ll maintain competitive intelligence databases and deliver actionable reports to stakeholders, guiding product and pricing decisions. You will mentor junior analysts and collaborate across teams to translate insights into strategy. This role offers the chance to influence product design, pricing, and market positioning within a fast-moving financial services environment. You will present findings to stakeholders and act as a subject-matter expert on competitive landscape and trends. Compensation / Benefits * Research competitors’ annuity offerings and product designs * Collect and analyze competitor data on prices, sales, and operations * Provide sales trend analysis at industry and product levels * Execute research projects on new products and channels * Track competitors’ interest rates and commissions * Update and maintain internal competitor product databases * Produce monthly and quarterly reports on competitor specifications * Conduct internal and external research projects as needed * Generate weekly updates on competitor interest rates for Actuarial and Product Management * Provide written analyses of competitor trends monthly and quarterly * Collaborate with Investment Specialist team for competitive analysis on sub-account options, costs, and trends * Build and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts * Mentor less experienced analysts * Present insights to stakeholders as a competitive landscape expert * Perform other duties as assigned Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a related field * 3+ years of competitive intelligence or financial services experience * FINRA SIE and FINRA Series 6 or 7 required (or ability to obtain within 90 days) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization * Strong analytical, interpretation, and presentation skills * Proficiency with MS Office and other relevant systems * Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Key requirements *
