Systems Engineer III - Automation (Remote)

Experteer Overview As Systems Engineer III, you design and deliver automation-driven desktop and endpoint management for our large user base. You will collaborate across teams to build scalable automation solutions that improve reliability and reduce manual tasks. You’ll work with managed services partners to advance automation initiatives and ensure secure, compliant, and high-availability end-user environments. This role supports modernization of the Digital Workplace with a strong emphasis on automation and cross-functional delivery. Compensation / Benefits * Design automated desktop management solutions and workflows * Create and maintain runbooks and reusable automation frameworks * Identify and implement automation for health checks, remediation, provisioning, and compliance * Develop scripts and tools to streamline operations and improve user experience * Monitor and optimize desktop environments for availability, performance, security, and compliance * Collaborate with internal and external partners and transition solutions to operations * Provide Tier 3 support and enable automated resolution paths * Produce high-quality documentation and roadmaps for automation projects * Contribute to agile planning and continuous improvement * Adhere to change management processes and assess risk of automation initiatives Tasks * 5+ years desktop operating systems management and infrastructure * 3+ years desktop engineering in financial industry * Strong PowerShell or equivalent scripting for automation * Experience building automated workflows, health checks, and remediation solutions * 1-3 years in an Agile delivery environment * 1-3 years using Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps * Familiarity with FFIEC Architecture, Infrastructure, and Operations Book * Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience * Ability to work remotely with occasional travel to hub locations Key requirements *
