Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you design, deploy, and maintain complex networks for a large Space Program, collaborating across groups to align with customer requirements and security standards. You will implement DISA STIGs, support international deployments, and contribute to the system’s information assurance posture. The role offers exposure to cutting-edge space technology and opportunities to drive IT security and network efficiency in a high-stakes environment. You will work with cross-functional teams to solve challenging network problems and implement innovative, scalable solutions. Compensation / Benefits * Design, deploy, and maintain networks * Interface with groups to understand customer requirements and implement DISA STIGs * Evaluate vendor products and provide hardware/software recommendations * Backup recovery and system documentation * Tune system performance and manage computing assets * Architect and deploy international networks * Implement cyber requirements via STIG automation * Integrate networks/time servers and other devices * Assist with lab and development environment integrations * Maintain information assurance posture of the system * Formulate innovative network solutions Tasks * 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 3 years with a Master’s; 1 year with a PhD; up to 4 years of experience may be substituted for the degree * Active Top Secret clearance at application and ability to obtain/maintain SCI and CI Poly before start * Experience with IP subnetting * Experience with L1-L3 networking * Experience with static and dynamic routing protocols * Knowledge of Cisco networking and deployment of complex WAN configurations (international) * DISA STIGs as applied to network devices * Security+ Certification * preferred: Solarwinds network monitoring * preferred: Cisco ISE * preferred: Crypto units * preferred: Microsoft Visio Diagram creation * preferred: CISSP or Microsoft OS Certification Key requirements * health insurance * life and disability insurance * savings plan * Company paid holidays * paid time off (PTO) * bonus opportunities
