Experteer Overview In this role you will design, develop, integrate, and verify embedded software for mission-critical systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and FPGA engineers to deliver robust solutions. You’ll gain experience across cryptography, waveform, networking protocols, and DevSecOps in an agile environment. You will contribute to shaping secure communications and control systems for government and defense customers. This is a hands-on opportunity to advance on complex problems with real-world impact. Compensation / Benefits * Design, develop, integrate, and verify embedded software solutions * Collaborate with hardware, systems, and FPGA engineers * Implement and test software in an embedded environment * Learn and apply cryptography, waveform, and networking concepts * Contribute within an agile team and full software development lifecycle Tasks * U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance * Bachelor in STEM or equivalent, 2+ years experience or advanced degree * Experience with C, C++, Rust, Python and/or Linux * Some embedded development experience * Security-conscious mindset and familiarity with multi-threaded, OO design * Knowledge of cryptography basics (asymmetric/symmetric) Key requirements * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Three weeks of vacation * Generous 401(k) with employer matching and retirement contributions * Tuition reimbursement * Student loan repayment * Life insurance and disability coverage
