Program Support Analyst

CHEVO is hiring Analysts to join our Department of Homeland Security (DHS) team. The successful candidate will work as a member of the engagement team providing analyst support for a government Disaster Preparedness project. The ideal candidate will have previous experience serving in an analyst position experience, preferably for FEMA engagements. Several openings are available and the positions are located in Washington, DC. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as an Analyst for a FEMA Preparedness Program. Specific task areas include o Strategy and Implementation Plan Development o Data Collection Development and Management o Research and Analysis o Continuous Improvement Program Capacity Building o Product Development o Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach o Web Services and System Support

• BA/BS degree in the related field
• Minimum of 2 to 10 years of experience serving as an Analyst on DHS programs
• Previous experience with Emergency Management initiatives for FEMA and/or at the State and Local level
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills

• Ability to collect and aggregate disaster preparedness data for reporting to government personnel. DESIRED SKILLS

• Previous experience supporting FEMA’s National Preparedness Directorate
• Previous experience performing in-depth data analysis related to Emergency Management programs and/or implementing tools in support of such programs
