Job description

We are seeking a skilled Linux Developer with Hypervisor experience to join our team. As developer, you will be responsible for creating, debugging, and documenting computer software for the Linux operating system. You will respond to any security or privacy breaches and prevent unauthorized access to our data. The ideal candidate is honest, reliable, and has a proven record of accomplishment in creating software, documenting system performance, and highly detailed customer assistance support.

Requirements

Three years of professional software development experience Three years of experience writing in: Python, C, C++ Demonstrated experience performing Software Configuration Management Demonstrated experience in reverse engineering, vulnerability research and exploitation on Linux Platforms Experience with Hypervisors is a bonus TS/SCI clearance with upgrade to Full Scope (if they don’t have it) while on contract On site development in Chantilly VA (our headquarters is in Perry Hall, MD) but this job will be stationed on site Chantilly VA, A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred Previous experience as a Computer Security Specialist, Cybersecurity Analyst, or similar role is preferred Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work well as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of C++ and PHP languages are preferred Knowledge of risk management methodologies and security frameworks Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems Familiarity with public key infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic protocols (e.g. SSL/ TLS)
