Job description
The BI Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and efficient Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and modern data platforms. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translating them into actionable data insights and visualizations., * Core BI Architecture & Development
- Design and implement end-to-end BI solutions using Tableau and Power BI.
- Develop semantic models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making.
- Create and maintain data models, ETL pipelines, and data warehouses.
- Collaboration & Governance
- Work with cross-functional teams (finance, sales, operations) to gather requirements.
- Implement data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Mentor junior BI developers and analysts.
Requirements
Strong Power BI, Paginated Reports, Dax, Strong in SQL and data warehousing. At least 15 years’ experience and managing large report migrations. Should have Capital Markets experience and understanding of trading, risk data. Must have : Cognos, Technical Skills
- Power BI: Semantic models, DAX, Paginated Reports, Q&A visual.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica) and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google BigQuery).
- Bonus: Python or R for data manipulation and AI/ML integration.
- Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities (for senior roles).
- Preferred Experience
- 10+ years in BI, data analytics, or data architecture roles.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-grade BI solutions.
- Experience with DevOps for BI (e.g., Git, ALM Toolkit, Tabular Editor).
