Job description
Techno Functional Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support EDI solutions within the Oracle EBS R12.2 environment. Knowledge of manufacturing industry-specific EDI requirements is required. Experience working with OpenText vendor. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their EDI requirements and business processes Analyze and document business and technical requirements for EDI integration with Oracle EBS Identify gaps and propose solutions to streamline and automate EDI processes 2Solution Design and Configuration: Design end-to-end EDI solutions in line with business requirements and industry best practices Configure and customize Oracle EBS modules and EDI tools to enable seamless data exchange for following document types 810, 850, 855, 860, 865, 997, 862, 830 Develop mapping specifications for EDI transactions (e.g., purchase orders, invoices) based on trading partner requirements Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper data flow between Oracle EBS and external systems Development and Testing: Develop and maintain custom interfaces and programs for EDI data transformation and validation Write and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of EDI transactions Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data transformation, transmission, and EDI document errors Conduct performance tuning and optimization of EDI processes Implementation: Coordinate and lead EDI implementation projects, ensuring successful integration and timely delivery. Provide user training and documentation on EDI processes and procedures. Monitor and analyze EDI transactions to ensure seamless integration with trading partner
Requirements
Strong experience working as an Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant, with a focus on EDI In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS modules relevant to EDI, such as Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable/Receivable Proficiency in EDI standards and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2) and following document types 810, 850, 855, 860, 865, 997, 862, 830 Should have experience working with EDI integrators (e.g., OpenText) and testing between third party IT and client teams Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS 12.2 configurations, setups, and customization Experience with developing and maintaining EDI maps and transformation programs Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction, analysis, and troubleshooting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively
