Sr. SDET (Hybrid, NYC)

Experteer Overview Join CrowdStrike’s Charlotte AI team as a hands-on SDET, shaping automated testing for a groundbreaking AI-driven security platform. You will build and maintain backend test automation, contribute to testing strategies, and ensure integration across AI-enabled services in a large-scale distributed system. Work with cross-functional teams to improve quality, performance, and reliability while navigating non-deterministic AI components. Compensation / Benefits * Design and implement automated testing solutions for the Charlotte AI system using a broad tech stack * Validate and verify integration of other teams and services with Charlotte AI * Collaborate with development and product teams to clarify scope and delivery timelines * Build comprehensive test plans covering functional and non-functional requirements * Execute automated tests to identify defects and track issues * Analyze test results to identify trends and propose improvements * Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality * Stay updated with trends in automated testing and tools, especially for AI systems Tasks * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field * 5+ years in Quality Assurance and test automation development or as an SDET * Hands-on experience with Go, Python, Java or other modern languages * Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OS, networking, distributed systems * Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks * Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket) * Experience with AWS services (S3, EC2, IAM) * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile environments * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Proven experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making and workflows * Preferred: expertise in validation and verification of AI systems Key requirements * compensation and equity awards * wellness programs * vacation and holidays * paid parental and adoption leaves * professional development opportunities * vibrant office culture with world-class amenities
