Senior Applications Analyst - Digital Payments

Experteer Overview In this role you will elicit stakeholder needs, analyze business requirements, and assess opportunities to improve application value. You will ensure reliable, up-to-date solutions aligned with vendor requirements, while providing daily support and troubleshooting. You’ll drive efficiency, optimize feature use, and contribute to cross-department projects, with a focus on improving the client experience and business decisions through solid reporting and risk-aware assessment. Compensation / Benefits * Elicit stakeholder needs and analyze business requirements to identify opportunities * Ensure applications leverage full feature/functionality and operate efficiently * Conduct business process reviews to drive efficiency and utilization gains * Evaluate product offerings and feasibility with business value justification; champion recommendations * Lead and participate in projects (system upgrades, bank integrations) * Collaborate cross-functionally to implement initiatives using standard project management practices * Maintain reporting systems to provide actionable insights for decision-making * Maintain Disaster Recovery plans and models * Ensure changes follow standard processes with approval for exceptions * Support daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned applications Tasks * Three+ years of application/business/systems analyst experience in a financial industry environment * Strong understanding of banking operations and structure (preferred) * Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field (preferred) * Technical certifications in Microsoft, CompTIA, and/or Cisco (preferred) * Foxtrot Certification (preferred) * Knowledge of SQL, SAS Visual Analytics, SSRS or other reporting technology * Deposit Applications: Payment Certifications (AAP, NCP, APRP) and SQL knowledge (preferred) * Direct banking experience (preferred) Key requirements * Base pay plus bonuses * Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * 401k * Health Savings Account * Paid Holidays * Tuition Reimbursement
