Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the security design and oversight of Enterprise Network Segmentation within the IP-NS team. You will translate asset criticality and threat modeling into concrete control requirements and ensure segmentation aligns with risk profiles across a regulated healthcare environment. You will partner with Product Owners, the Network Security Architect, network engineering, and risk stakeholders to maintain policy intent and monitor drift, while contributing to incident response and executive risk reporting. This is a technical authority role in a hybrid Mayo Clinic environment, offering impact across security controls and risk reduction. Compensation / Benefits * Lead security design and oversight for Enterprise Network Segmentation. * Ensure segmentation controls align with asset risk profiles and regulatory requirements. * Translate asset criticality and threat models into segmentation control requirements. * Validate that implemented policy meets design intent and monitor drift. * Provide Tier 3 incident response support and contribute to executive risk reporting. * Collaborate with Product Owners, Network Security Architect, network engineers, and enterprise risk stakeholders. * Support security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and security automation as applicable. * Operate effectively in a hybrid work environment and participate in on-site activities as needed. Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus five years of experience. * Master’s degree in a relevant field plus four years of experience preferred. * One or more of CISSP, CISM, GSEC, OSCP at time of hire. * Must reside within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus; hybrid work arrangement. * Visa sponsorship not provided.
