Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you lead a diverse team of technicians and engineers to deliver data center capacity and build out new facilities at scale. You drive operational excellence across delivery, security, and safety, collaborating with internal teams to align with AWS infrastructure goals. You’ll optimize deployment strategies and oversee service methodologies, ensuring reliable, cost-efficient connectivity for customers. This is a chance to shape critical global infrastructure in a fast-paced, inclusive environment with a strong focus on mentorship and continuous improvement. Compensation / Benefits * Manage and develop teams of technicians and engineers, providing technical and leadership guidance * Deliver capacity to existing data centers and assist in bringing online new data centers * Continuously improve processes and procedures to lift performance * Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors * Coordinate with internal teams and management groups * Ensure compliance with local health & safety standards in data centers * Create and maintain metrics on data center performance to drive improvements * Assist in implementing service methodologies (incident, problem, change, capacity management) * Travel to various data center locations as needed and support training for new facilities Tasks * 2+ years in a management or team lead role * 2+ years of data center experience or related IT field * willingness to travel and work across multiple site locations * experience with data center operations, networking, or hardware handling (racking, cable management) * knowledge of networking infrastructure topology * certifications in networking or IT (e.g., CCNA/Network+, A+/Security+) * experience conducting behavioral interviews and hiring * flexible schedule including weekends/nights/holidays Key requirements * health insurance * 401(k) matching * paid time off * RSUs * relocation support * extensive training and mentorship
