Sr. Manager, Software Engineering

You will align cross-functional teams with product partners to deliver scalable, secure services and API integrations that unlock new revenue and market opportunities. You’ll champion innovation, govern end-to-end delivery, and ensure regulatory, security, and privacy standards while shaping the VAS roadmap. Compensation / Benefits * Spearhead design, development, and deployment of innovative technologies including generative AI and modern integration patterns * Foster a culture of experimentation and knowledge sharing within the engineering team * Champion API design and development to connect Value-Added Services apps and platforms * Develop and execute a strategic vision for the VAS platform aligned with business goals * Lead modernization across multiple services ensuring scalability, reliability and industry-best practices * Own end-to-end software delivery ensuring secure, high-performing solutions with business impact * Drive engineering excellence in quality, security, performance, and resilience * Oversee technical debt, cost optimization, and prioritization of enhancements and maintenance * Drive automation in development, testing, and deployment processes * Ensure incident, change, and problem management within the platform * Hire, retain and develop diverse, global engineering teams * Mentor and coach teams to foster continuous learning and improvement * Collaborate cross-functionally with distributed teams to deliver complete solutions * Engage with clients and stakeholders to align the VAS platform with needs * Oversee budgeting, planning, resource management, delivery tracking and KPIs * Ensure regulatory, security, and privacy compliance across development activities * Continuously improve tech stacks, processes, and methodologies * Lead modernization initiatives to expand market reach and client base Tasks * 8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience * Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning * Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Experience building microservices using HTTP, REST, JSON, and XML * Proven track record as an innovation leader delivering new products or features * Experience leading software teams delivering highly available, enterprise-level distributed apps * Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC * Ability to articulate technical and business issues to diverse stakeholders * Skill in setting project goals, metrics, and tracking progress * Strong coordination of multiple product and technical teams and problem solving Key requirements * Medical * Dental * Vision * 401(k) * FSA/HSA * Paid Time Off
