Experteer Overview As Lead Engineer in KPMG’s Digital Nexus technology team, you will help shape the network security platform roadmap and implement improvements across Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto ecosystems. You’ll blend deep technical expertise with architecture planning to deliver secure, cloud-native solutions while guiding operations and cross-functional collaboration. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities, aimed at strengthening our security posture and infrastructure. You will work with a diverse, client-focused team to turn security strategy into reliable, scalable outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Contribute to technology architecture roadmaps and maintain them; assess current network security architecture and plan improvements aligned with standards * Ensure integration of Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto with broader IT infrastructure * Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends and deliver roadmap-backed technology on schedule and with quality * Provide guidance and enforce product development processes; support operations with root cause analyses and preventative actions * Lead training and guidance within the Network team; act as last-tier support for operations and support teams * Design and document system standards; establish and configure network environments and automate installations Tasks * 5+ years of experience with Web proxy products (ZScaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (Strata and VM-Series), Panorama, and Prisma Access/ZIA/ZPA * Hands-on GCP engineering experience (VPC design, Cloud Armor, security integrations) * Experience with Network Automation and IaC (Terraform, Ansible) * Excellent communication and leadership; ability to manage priorities and mentor teams * Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future * Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum high school diploma or GED required Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * disability and life insurance * 401(k) plans * personal well-being benefits
