Lead Engineer, Network Security Platform

Experteer Overview As Lead Engineer in the Digital Nexus team, you shape the security platform roadmap and ensure secure, scalable network infrastructure. You translate industry trends into actionable plans, integrating Zscaler, GCP and Palo Alto technologies to meet business needs. You’ll guide cross-functional teams, provide last-tier incident support, and drive architecture decisions aligned with best practices. This role offers impact across technology strategy, delivery, and security at scale. Compensation / Benefits * Help develop and maintain technology architecture roadmaps; align with industry standards and integrate Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto within the tech ecosystem * Keep deep knowledge of industry directions; deliver roadmap items on schedule and with high quality * Provide guidance to teams; ensure product development process adherence and budget targets; act as last-tier support with root cause analysis * Set up network environments by designing configurations; document and enforce system standards * Provide training and guidance to Network team; offer last-tier support for operations * Uphold integrity and professional conduct in a respectful work environment Tasks * Minimum five years of experience with Web proxy products (Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Extensive Palo Alto experience (Strata, VM-Series), Panorama, and Prisma Access/SaaS security * Hands-on GCP engineering experience (VPC design, Cloud Armor) and Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) design/management * Strong background in Network Automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) * Excellent communication; ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects; strong troubleshooting and organizational skills * Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * 401(k) plans * well-being benefits * Paid Time Off and holidays
