Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, particularly in working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. You will work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for those we serve., * Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive behavior changes.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on data analysis.
  • Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including special education professionals, to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of ABA and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to navigate medical records effectively.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and how they intersect with behavioral health services.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding client confidentiality and data protection.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
