Job description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Solution Architect to lead complex, large-scale enterprise transformation programmes. The ideal candidate will combine strong Oracle/enterprise architecture expertise with exceptional programme leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery governance capabilities. This role involves working closely with senior leadership (including VP-level stakeholders), requiring excellent communication, proactive mindset, and strong execution ownership., Own end-to-end delivery across multi-region / multi-zone technology teams and programmes Define and embed programme governance including: Planning cadences RAID management Quality controls Escalation frameworks Lead integrated planning across Agile and Waterfall workstreams, ensuring: Scope alignment Resource planning Cross-team dependency management Ensure delivery timelines, quality standards, governance compliance, and customer/internal expectations are met under strict deadlines Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes, tools, and operational efficiency Establish clear communication strategy across programmes, including: Executive reporting Cross-functional updates Stakeholder communication frameworks Facilitate workshops and requirements discovery sessions to align teams on value-driven business outcomes Apply strong technical depth across: Architecture Cloud platforms Enterprise systems to evaluate risks, challenge estimates, and support trade-off decisions Ensure all deliverables align with: Enterprise architecture standards Security requirements Regulatory compliance obligations Foster a high-performance, inclusive delivery culture with: Strong accountability Psychological safety Team wellbeing focus Act as a role model across delivery teams with proactive leadership mindset and ownership culture
Requirements
12-18+ years of overall technology delivery experience Minimum 5+ years in senior programme / delivery leadership roles Strong consulting background: Client advisory Engagement shaping Commercial / pre-sales / bid contribution Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-geography technology programmes from initiation to BAU transition Strong technical background in: Oracle ecosystems (preferred) Enterprise architecture Cloud platforms / enterprise systems Experience in: Digital transformation programmes Cloud migration initiatives Enterprise application modernization Excellent executive-level communication & stakeholder management skills Experience managing: External vendors System integrators Third-party delivery partners Exposure to regulated industries (Preferred): BFSI Capital Markets Large enterprise transformation environments Familiarity with Oracle-based enterprise applications: WebLogic Oracle cloud transformation initiatives Understanding of enterprise technology layers: Infrastructure layer Virtualization layer Application layer Exposure to Microsoft Azure services: Virtual Machines Azure Storage App Services Azure Databases Preferred Attributes Strong leadership presence and executive influence capability Highly proactive, structured, and outcome-driven mindset Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments Strong collaboration across global teams and stakeholders
