Job description

InfoReliance has an opportunity for an Infrastructure Consultant/SharePoint Developer in support of our client, a Federal Agency based in Washington, DC. Our ideal candidate will be a specialist in Windows OS, SharePoint 2010/2013 and Cloud Technologies, including Microsoft Office 365, Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure. The Infrastructure Consultant/SharePoint Developer is responsible for testing, training, and maintaining solutions deployed on our Microsoft SharePoint based Internet, extranet, and intranet sites. This also includes configuring, maintaining, monitoring, and reporting vulnerabilities for the current customer platform. This member of our staff will be primarily responsible for:

  • Supporting the infrastructure operations and maintenance activities to include daily/weekly monitoring, server configuration/upgrade efforts, disaster recovery/COOP activities, general troubleshooting support, and other engineering related activities to include o Patch Management o Vulnerability Management o Performance Monitoring

  • Participating in Configuration Change Board (CCB) reviews concerning change requests and defect reports and responding to requests for reviews of the change requests and defect reports
  • Assisting in trouble resolution and repair of software defects identified as deficiencies
  • Supporting the maintenance of existing SharePoint sites, InfoPath forms, stand-alone website forms and Model-View Controller software applications
  • Development of system upgrades and enhancements, and operational support of an existing customer based application
  • Identifying customer requirements and implementing solutions when required
  • Providing strategy, planning, concept, and interface design

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field including Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with Infrastructure engineering and SharePoint development/design
  • Experience with InfoPath, SharePoint Designer or K2
  • 3+ years of experience with SharePoint engineering/administration
  • Site collection configuration and using SharePoint Designer
  • Developing solutions with forms and workflow solutions
  • Implementation of SharePoint Collaboration tools, including forums and issues lists
  • Implementation and development of SharePoint Web parts
  • Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with engineering and software development methodologies.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
