Job description
InfoReliance has an opportunity for a SharePoint Developer in support of our client, a Federal Agency based in Washington, DC. Our ideal candidate will be a specialist in Windows OS, SharePoint 2010/2013 and Cloud Technologies, including Microsoft Office 365, Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure. The SharePoint Consultant is responsible for designing, producing, testing, and maintaining solutions deployed on our Microsoft SharePoint based Internet, extranet, and intranet sites. This also includes the authoring, editing, posting, and management of web site content, as well as the creation of web-based business solutions. The SharePoint Consultant will be primarily responsible for:
- Maintenance of existing SharePoint sites, InfoPath forms, stand-alone website forms and Model-View Controller software applications
- Development of system upgrades and enhancements, and operational support of an existing customer based application
- Creating and maintaining: Sites, Permissions, Navigation, Forms and Workflows, SharePoint out of the box web parts
- Providing strategy, planning, concept, and design to interface existing customer applications with other customer owned systems
- Identifying customer requirements and implementing solutions when required.
- Demonstration, Help Desk, and Training support
- Collaborating with customers to develop and implement governance and quality control models for SharePoint implementation, including content management and deployment and user access.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field including Computer Science and Graphic Design.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience with development/design with SharePoint
- Experience with InfoPath, SharePoint Designer or K2
- 3+ years of experience with SharePoint administration
- Site collection configuration and using SharePoint Designer
- Developing solutions with forms and workflow solutions
- Implementation of SharePoint Collaboration tools, including forums and issues lists
- Implementation and development of SharePoint Web parts
- Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience with project management methodologies and software development methodologies. Agile experience a plus
- Strong time management skills
- Strong analytical skills
