Markit EDM Developer

This role as a Markit EDM Developer focuses on building and enhancing enterprise communication solutions using Java and Informatica MDM within a hybrid work environment. The position involves designing secure and scalable master data components that support transparent communication flows, ensuring that critical information is accurate, timely, and consistent. The professional will collaborate with cross functional partners to align communication platforms with organizational goals and improve Required Skills: Java, Informatica MDM Hub Console, Informatica Active VOS, Informatica MDM Entity360 & IDD, 1. Design and implement Java services for communication workflows 2. Configure and optimize Informatica MDM Hub Console components 3. Develop and refine Entity360 views for stakeholder profiles 4. Build and maintain Informatica IDD user interfaces 5. Create and orchestrate process flows with Active VOS 6. Collaborate with teams to translate communication needs into technical designs 7. Conduct data analysis and profiling to identify gaps/inconsistencies 8. Implement validation and stewardship rules for trusted master data 9. Prepare technical documentation for services, integrations, and MDM configs 10. Perform impact analysis and regression testing for changes 11. Monitor and troubleshoot production issues in hybrid setups 12. Coordinate with security/compliance partners for regulatory adherence 13. Mentor peers on Java, Informatica MDM, and data governance best practices 14. Drive continuous improvement using communication metrics insights

1. 10 years of experience with complex enterprise applications 2. Advanced proficiency in Java for distributed services and integration frameworks 3. Hands-on expertise with Informatica MDM Hub Console (trust rules, match-merge, batch jobs) 4. Practical experience in configuring Entity360 and IDD for user-friendly interfaces 5. Working knowledge of Informatica Active VOS for workflow orchestration 6. Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and referential integrity 7. Ability to work effectively in hybrid setups and standard day shifts 8. Analytical and problem-solving skills for incident resolution and root cause analysis 9. Clear communication of technical topics to non-technical stakeholders 10. Familiarity with agile practices (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews) 11. Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and APIs for connecting MDM solutions 12. Commitment to continuous learning in Java frameworks and Informatica capabilities
