Cloud Architect - Senior

Design and assess secure cloud architectures for federal systems, with emphasis on AWS security services, FedRAMP inheritance, continuous monitoring, encryption, network segmentation, and ATO evidence., · Design secure AWS and hybrid cloud architectures using IAM, VPC, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, and encryption controls.

· Map FedRAMP/CSP inherited controls and customer-responsibility controls into system security documentation.

· Support continuous monitoring solutions and evidence automation for cloud systems.

· Advise on network architecture, Direct Connect, Outposts, reverse proxies, egress controls, and risk mitigation.

Do you have experience in Virtual Private Clouds?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, · 10+ years cloud and cloud security solutions experience in federal government systems.

· Master degree required.

· Strong AWS networking/security knowledge including VPC, Direct Connect, Outposts, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Inspector, SSL/TLS, and encryption at rest/in transit.

· Ability to interpret SIEM/cloud security alerts and support FedRAMP-specific control responses.

Preferred Qualifications

· AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CISA, or related certification.

· Prior DOJ, law enforcement, or federal public safety domain experience., * Do you have 10+ years of cloud/cloud security experience supporting federal systems?
