Experteer Overview As a Senior Engineering Management Specialist, you drive delivery and orchestration of complex engineering programs, coordinating cross-functional teams and tracking progress to ensure disciplined outcomes. You’ll contribute to both frontend and backend development, cloud-scale solutions, and DevOps practices in fast-moving environments. Your role supports DoD-relevant projects and stakeholder alignment, delivering reliable software and data pipelines. This is a hands-on leadership role that shapes execution standards and continuous improvement. Compensation / Benefits * Build and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, and React with focus on responsiveness and performance * Design, develop, and support backend services and data processing pipelines in Java and Python * Contribute to scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS and data lake environments * Apply DevOps practices including Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, and reliable error handling * Utilize Git, GitLab, and Airflow to manage codebases, automate workflows, and align with stakeholder requirements (including DoD environments) Tasks * 5+ years designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Java and Python * 2+ years developing RESTful APIs and data processing pipelines * 2+ years using Apache Airflow or Kafka to manage workflows and data pipelines * 2+ years using Git or GitLab for version control * Ability to travel ~25% and be legally authorized to work in the United States * Active DoD Secret security clearance Key requirements * discretionary annual incentive program * professional development opportunities
