Senior PeopleSoft HCM Technical Manager

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead the upgrade and modernization of the District’s PeopleSoft HCM system within OCTO. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align PeopleSoft capabilities with government budgeting and payroll needs, delivering scalable solutions. You’ll drive complex technical and business process design, ensuring seamless ERP integrations and data migration. Compensation / Benefits * Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs for customizations as required by DCHR or OPRS * Provide subject matter expertise in PeopleSoft Payroll, Commitment Accounting and Position Management * Analyze business and user needs, document requirements, and translate into system requirements specifications * Offer top-level consultation as a senior specialist across system analysis phases, considering business impact * Integrate ERP systems including Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, or PeopleSoft FSCM * Leverage understanding of Budgeting and Position Management in state and local government environments * Develop data extraction, translation and load (ETL) programs * Lead upgrade initiatives and modernization efforts of the OCFO Finance and Budgets Systems Tasks * 16+ years of PeopleSoft Technical & Functional experience * 16+ years of Software Development Lifecycle experience * 16+ years of requirements gathering and documentation * 16+ years of MS Office/PowerPoint experience * 15+ years of Oracle SQL experience * 10+ years of strong PeopleSoft Technical lead experience * 10+ years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools experience * 10+ years of PeopleSoft Upgrade experience * 8+ years of overall PeopleSoft HCM modules knowledge * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience Key requirements *
