Experteer Overview In this Lead Engineer role, you will shape the Network Security Platform within KPMG’s Digital Nexus team, aligning security architecture with industry best practices and the firm’s technology roadmap. You will work on integrating Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto into the broader tech stack, delivering secure, scalable solutions for client services. You will guide less senior engineers, provide incident analysis, and drive high-quality, on-time delivery. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role at a leading professional services firm. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain technology architecture roadmaps; evaluate current network security architecture and propose improvements aligned with standards; ensure integration of Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto with existing infrastructure * Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of industry directions; deliver roadmap items on schedule and with high quality * Provide guidance to plans and procedures; ensure product development process adherence, performance and budget targets; act as last-tier support with root cause analysis and preventative analysis * Design and document network configurations; install and enforce system standards; support operations with escalation handling and training to the Network team * Act with integrity and professionalism to uphold a respectful work environment; participate in resource planning and cross-functional collaboration Tasks * Minimum five years of experience with Web proxy products (ZScaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (physical Strata and VM-Series), Panorama, and Prisma Access/ZIA/ZPA * Hands-on GCP engineering experience (VPC, Cloud Armor) and ability to integrate security appliances in cloud-native setups * Strong background in Network Automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) * Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to manage multiple projects and coach a high-performance team * Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * disability and life insurance * 401(k) plans * personal well-being benefits
