Experteer Overview As Lead Engineer, Network Security Platform, you will shape the security architecture within KPMG’s Digital Nexus technology team. You will assess and evolve the network security roadmap, ensure integration of technologies like Zscaler, GCP and Palo Alto with our infrastructure, and guide cross-functional delivery to meet quality and budget targets. You’ll provide senior technical guidance, support operations, and drive secure cloud and on-premise networking initiatives. This role offers impact across client-facing infrastructure and internal platforms in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain technology architecture roadmaps for network security; align with industry standards * Assess current network security architecture and propose improvements * Ensure integration of Zscaler, GCP, and Palo Alto with broader infrastructure * Provide guidance and ensure adherence to product development processes and budget targets * Offer last-tier support for operations, including root cause and preventive analyses * Design and document system configurations; establish and enforce network standards * Provide training and mentorship to Network team members * Participate in resource planning and cross-functional collaboration * Lead/support multiple projects with strong customer service focus Tasks * Minimum five years’ experience with Web proxy products (ZScaler, Palo Alto Prisma) and cloud environments (Azure, GCP) * Deep expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (Strata, VM-Series), Panorama, Prisma Access/ZIA/ZPA * Hands-on Google Cloud Platform engineering experience (VPC design, Cloud Armor) * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) for firewall and proxy deployments * Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams * Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future * Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required * Proven ability to design, implement, and manage security solutions in cloud-native environments Key requirements * comprehensive benefits package * medical and dental plans * vision coverage * 401(k) plans * disability and life insurance * well-being benefits
