Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you help Superhuman ship fast in a security-first way. You’ll build the identity model, guardrails, and secure-by-default platform enabling engineers and AI systems to move boldly. You’ll tackle bleeding-edge AI and product security problems, from threat modeling to vulnerability mitigation, shaping a safer, faster product suite. You collaborate across engineering to keep customer data secure while expanding security tooling and automation. Compensation / Benefits * Collaborate with Product Engineering across the SDLC to create threat models, conduct design reviews, perform secure code reviews, and execute manual testing to find vulnerabilities * Develop and deploy end-to-end security solutions mitigating risks across the product suite * Improve Product Security tooling, automation, and the bug bounty program * Experiment with AI-based tools to accelerate the Security team * Advocate for customers by communicating security risks and trade-offs to engineering teams while safeguarding data Tasks * 3+ years of experience securing applications at scale * Experience across threat modeling, design reviews, secure code reviews, and web app pentesting in a secure SDLC * Familiarity with SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling * Experience applying AI to security challenges at scale * Software engineering experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go * Experience with vulnerability disclosure programs or bug bounty platforms (HackerOne or Bugcrowd) * Ability to think adversarially and translate risks into engineering mitigations * Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments Key requirements * Excellent health care (medical, dental, vision, mental health, fertility) * Disability and life insurance options * 401(k) and RRSP matching * Paid parental leave * Paid time off and holidays plus floating days and flexible sick time * Generous stipends for caregiving, pet care, wellness, and home office
