Job description

Insight Global is looking for an IT Project Manager to support a large retail company’s IT Supply Chain organization. This individual will support key technology initiatives, including Growth Sourcing Architecture (GSA) and Supplier Onboarding efforts, while serving as a central point of coordination between IT and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in complex environments, excels at identifying and resolving project risks, and can confidently communicate project status to both team members and executive leadership. This role offers the opportunity to drive high-visibility initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and become a trusted partner within a fast-paced organization where strong ownership, communication, and relationship-building skills are highly valued.

Day-to-Day:

  • Own and maintain RAID logs, project plans, timelines, and status reporting

  • Identify and proactively drive risks, issues, dependencies, and action items to resolution

  • Facilitate communication between business and IT stakeholders

  • Prepare and distribute weekly project status updates

  • Build and present steering committee materials and executive updates

  • Schedule, facilitate, and document meetings

  • Escalate issues appropriately and ensure follow-through on action items

  • Support GSA (Growth Sourcing Architecture) initiatives

  • Support Supplier Onboarding projects

  • Manage project priorities in a fast-paced environment with limited resources

  • Partner with stakeholders to communicate project health, including red/yellow status when necessary

Pay rate: 55-60/hr.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience

  • Experience creating and maintaining project artifacts:

o RAID Logs

o Project Plans

o Status Reports

o Executive/Steering Committee Presentations

  • Strong risk, issue, dependency, and escalation management experience

  • Fast learner with ability to understand new technologies at a high level

  • Self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to navigate challenging personalities

  • High attention to detail in planning, documentation, and communication

  • Proficiency with Smartsheet and/or Microsoft Project * 10+ years of IT Project Management experience

  • Agile certification(s)

  • IT Supply Chain experience

  • Jira experience

  • Jira Align experience

  • Experience managing cross-functional technology initiatives
