Job description

  • Leadandoversee 24x7 IT Operations activitiesacrossacomplex,multi-platformenterpriseenvironment,ensuringtheavailability,stability,andperformanceofcriticaltechnologysystems.
  • Manage,monitor,support,andmaintainenterpriseinfrastructure,productionservices,batchoperations,applicationsupport,andoperationalprocessestomeetestablishedservicelevels.
  • DirectanddevelopITOperationsstaffbyprovidingleadership,coaching,performancemanagement,scheduling,andday-to-dayoperationalguidancetoachievedepartmentalandorganizationalgoals.
  • Drive incident, problem, change, and service management processestominimizeoperationalrisk,reducedowntime,andimproveservicereliability.
  • Planandmanageshiftoperationstodelivereffectiveandefficienttechnologyservicesthatsupportbusinessobjectivesandcustomerexpectations.
  • Demonstrateastrongsenseofurgencyandaccountabilitywhileleadingteamsinafast-paced,mission-criticalenvironmentrequiringcontinuousoperationalsupport.
  • Partnerwithtechnology,business,andinfrastructureteamstounderstandevolvingbusinessneeds,prioritizesupportrequirements,andimplementoperationalimprovements.
  • Manageworkforceactivitiesincludingemployeerelations,performancereviews,workassignments,timeapprovals,vacationscheduling,successionplanning,andtalentdevelopment.
  • Monitoroperationalmetrics,servicelevelagreements(SLAs),systemperformance,andcapacitytrendstoidentifyopportunitiesforcontinuousimprovementandautomation.
  • Assist in planning, forecasting,andmanagingsmalltomoderateoperationalandprojectbudgetswhileensuringadherencetofinancial,compliance,risk,andgovernancerequirements.
  • Serves as a hand-on supervisor, providing day-to-day leadership while actively contributing to workload management and delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • At least 6 years experience with a data center operating environment, day-to-day operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • IT Operations Leadership experiencesupportinglarge-scaleenterpriseinfrastructureandmission-criticalenvironments.
  • Strongknowledgeof Windows/Linux administration, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), networking, and infrastructure services .
  • Experiencewith Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management (ITIL) methodologiesandoperationalgovernance.
  • Expertisein monitoring, observability, logging, and performance management toolssuchasSplunk,Dynatrace,Datadog,AppDynamics,orsimilarplatforms.
  • Experiencemanaging high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and business continuity programs.
  • Strongunderstandingof automation and scripting usingPowerShell,Python,Ansible,Terraform,orrelatedtechnologies.
  • Provenabilitytoleadcross-functionalteams,managevendorrelationships,andinfluencestakeholdersatmultipleorganizationallevels.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and operational risk management skillswithafocusonreliability,compliance,andcontinuousimprovement.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
