Computer Programmer

Computer Programmer TimeClock Plus is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Computer Programmer to expand our existing development team and work on mission-critical software applications. We are looking for a self-starter who can quickly come up to speed on complex systems. Being a team player that is capable of communicating and working well with peers and managers is a must. TimeClock Plus provides a dynamic and challenging work environment where a developer can thrive and perform the following duties:

• Working with a dexterous team to program, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications while preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
• Designing, programming, and performing unit testing in accordance with established standards in order to analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
• Pairing with other programmers and developers to learning the software development process and lifecycle of a feature request at the same time as raising questions to clarify any ambiguity of any idea or process.
• Using basic relational database concepts to confidently write basic SQL statements and possessing knowledge of various database access methods.

• B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• General Software practice, Life Cycle, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Windows, Linux, OS X systems
• Experience in related programming skills such as APEX, JavaScript, JQuery
• Knowledge of client/server application programming
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Ability to interface with internal users to define system requirements
